Showed me that not only is there still more to go with the console. We haven't seen the Xbox 360 truly pushed. Nor the PS3 for that matter. I think the last two years we've seen developers get over the hump of learning the technology. Now we are going to see them use them more efficiently. Both the PS3 and Xbox 360 are very powerful even with bottle necks. Code is getting better, engines are popping up doing things we never could imagine. I mean Grid is a great example of pushing driving game...
If the game premiered on Xbox Live Marketplace, wouldn't it stand to reason that the game will be on the Xbox 360? Whether or not it's exclusive is actually the real question. As opposed to not knowing what systems it will be on. What would be the point of doing that? I believe it's going to come to the PS3 at some point. Especially since the first one did. We'll find out soon if it's day and date with Xbox 360 one.
How great does the game look though? I dissecting the game earl...
Good article. Was hard to follow parts of it because of the editing. Yet I do understand the comparisons. Someone above said the PS3 was the new 3DO...Flamebait, but funny...
I was expecting to see a mild update in the graphics, but LO2 ups the ante. The transition from cgi to gameplay is seamless to the point I didn't notice when it happened till I watched it again. I didn't think Gears 2 would be surpassed so early, but this game looks like it does. Also you see they are adding elements to the game-play from other Capcom titles, or at least inspired by them. The co-op play mirrors Monster Hunter, along with Resident Evil 5 style level design. You had a player pu...
Exist. What baffles me is how a game with so few multiplayer modes like Killzone 2 be compared to Halo 3, and called better. Forge alone allows you to customize maps in such a way in Halo 3 that you can play it in tons of different ways. I'm not going to even get into vehicles, how you can knock a player off and take it to use. Halo series has done so much and it's features tend to get over looked. Yet games like Killzone 2 which have less are applauded for being better? How?
Good to hear. One of my favorite games this generation is Pure. Simply just for that old school arcade fun. Right now I'm more into these types of games than say sim racers. So Fuel is on my radar for sure...
seems more reviewers are giving this game a chance. May not be a day one purchase for me, but I'll get it at some point. Perhaps in the bargin. Just too many games out there for me to consider this a high priority. Good job though.
Is one of the best games of this generation. Should always be included in the discussion. Can't wait for ME 2. Now that Bioware knows the 360, everything should be more eye popping, less or no screen tearing. The story, game-play and music were already top notch. They have already announced a PC and 360 edition. There has not been any confirmation of a PS3 version. So who knows...
Game is going to be awesome. The focus and style it's going for in game play is a departure from the Halo we know and love. I'm really wondering about how the level design will be, because if it's great then all bets are off in terms of how well it will do.
How this game has been getting good reviews. After playing the game you can see that this is a good experience. On the RTS strategy side, I'd have to say it's great on console. Comparing it to PC ones, with their control scheme is apples and oranges. You get into the game rather quickly, and I have no doubt the more it's played the depth of it will emerge even more than it does now.
The game was already an exclusive on the Xbox 360. A fan base considered to only enjoy FPS games, came out and made Dead Rising popular. That's how PS3 owners know about it. I have no idea what Capcom is up to, hopefully it will involve multiplayer and some additional stuff. No need to point the finger at Microsoft, and even then is that really a bad thing? Dead Rising was a fun game...
